PROGRESS!!! Fokken finally! A little bit of fuel on the fire.

I've been bitching and complaining about writer's block recently, and it does
suck. But there are ways to get your creativity going, despite what your
brain may tell you!

One of those ways is to learn new songs! Pick one that you love, ya know?
One you find yourself singing maybe all the time, or one that you can't get
out of your head.

Honestly, the recording process gets me in a bit of an un-creative mode, but
I'm working on ways to get past that in my head.

With that all being said, yesterday, I had my kick-ass little cousin come down
and recorded her first cover! It was "The Last Song I'm Wasting On You"
by Evanescence. She fokken killed it!

You can find her HERE - (EmilyTheKitten) on Soundcloud!

And also, after we got done with that, I laid down a couple of acoustic guitar
tracks and a couple of vocal tracks for what became my rough mix of a cover
of "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" by Creedence Clearwater Revival!

Check it out HERE - (White Man From Town) on Soundcloud!

And I guess I'll be messing around with a few other little acoustic tracks to get
my creativities flowing. All just a matter of time.

Writer's Block, like all other things in life that seem to pose a problem of sorts,
comes in waves; the Crest, and the Trough.

You just have to find your own way to, as Dr. Leary said, "ride the waves of chaos."
